Who We Are

We've been serving the needs of the oil and gas investment community since 1979. Our founder, Cleon Bommer, began his career as a drilling engineer in Beeville, Texas, in 1951 and went on to head up Viking Drilling Company, a south Texas driller out of San Antonio. Our enterprise grew out of his legacy.

 

As a family-owned business, we appreciate the importance of personal relationships in the pursuit of business excellence. We recognize that while oil is a commodity, people are not. As such, we strive to follow the Golden Rule in every situation, whether amongst ourselves or in dealing with our business partners, and if we fail that rule, we promise to always do our best to make things right.
